TAX BILL INFORMATION -

Due to the nature of the real estate market the most recent State Valuation Audit (The states comparison of assessed values vs sales declaration of value). Current Tax Year 2026 the State says that Rangeley is assessing at 76%. The town must adjust all state reimbursed Home Stead Exemptions, Veterans Exemptions, Personal Property and Tree Growth Values by the 76% Certified Ratio.

ONLINE SNOWMOBILE and ATV REGISTRATIONS:

Non-resident registrations may be completed online for both new and re-registrations on MDIFW website. Maine residents may re-register online. Maine resident new registrations must be completed through a registration agent or the MDIFW main office in Augusta.

Effective September 1, 2023 - In following the State of Maine's guidelines, the Town of Rangeley can only re-register boats, ATV's and snowmobiles when the prior registration is presented.  If you do not have the prior registration, please contact the Town Office prior to coming at 864-3326.
